According to the S. Korea intelligence agency, North Korea had attempted to steal COVID-19 vaccine tech from the pharmaceutical manufacturer Pfizer. However, it is still unknown if any information has been stolen.

Reporters have reached out the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, but they have yet to respond. North Korea officials have not yet reported even a single case of coronavirus in their country. However, the country is on the list to receive ~ 2 million does of the vaccine in the next few weeks from AstraZeneca-Oxford.

It has been over a year since North Koreas closed their boarder in the wake of the virus spreading across China. Since the beginning of the pandemic states have sent hackers in search of valuable covid-19 information – North Korea was known to be the most active in this pursuit.
