On Tuesday morning, Tiger Woods was hospitalized after being involved in a single vehicle rollover accident in southern california. The professional golfer was taken to the hospital with multiple leg injuries. Reports say that first responders had to extract Woods from the vehicle by using the jaws of life as the car had sustained severe damage in the collision.

The car was found on its side in a ditch at the bottom of the hill. The front of the car took the brunt of the damage and the car’s airbags had gone off.

Woods was taken to harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he is being treated for moderate to critical injuries. He was the only person in the vehicle. Tiger’s agent, Mark Steinberg, reported that the golfer needed surgery for the wounds he suffered from the accident.

Law enforcement officials are still investigating the cause of the accident. Woods had just spent the weekend in Southern California as a part of the Genesis Invitational.
