Pelosi teased that Democrats will hold an event on Friday to discuss the 25th Amendment over concerns about the presidents coronavirus diagnosis. She hinted that the discussion was tied to what she claimed was a lack of transparency from the White House on Trumps health.

The 25th Amendment outlines the presidential line of succession and authorizes the vice president and a majority of Cabinet members to declare the president unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.

Trump announced last Friday that he was diagnosed with the coronavirus, and reports surfaced Thursday that 34 White House staffers and other contacts have been infected with the virus in recent days.

The president spent the weekend at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he received various therapeutics including doses of Remdesivir, an anti-viral drug. He was also placed on supplemental oxygen.

He returned to the White House Monday, and has since released a string of videos on Twitter saying that he has begun feeling better.
